Some things cannot be changed without legislative changes - chief among which is the 90-trial law.

There is nothing inherently wrong with having a worker trial or probationary period, but it must be fair and equitable on both sides.

Right now, it is not, with all of the power vested in employers. This has to change to re-set the balance between worker and employer rights.

Vote for the party which will give workers the strongest protection.

(That would be Labour, by the way, the party whose very name gives you the clue.)

Take a look at employee rights - every single one of them was fought for and earned under Labour banners.

Don't let your rights be eroded even further: get out and vote for Jacinda Ardern and the Labour Party.
